Admission

Requirements 

1. Admission Requirement for Master of Science in Data Science

School Level Admission:

• BSc in computer science, mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, statistics, and airplane maintenance engineering.
• An overall grade point average of at least 2.5 (based on a 4.00 scale).
• A passing score in the Ethiopian Ministry’s Graduate Admission Test (EGAT).

• Meeting the English Language Proficiency requirements of the School of Graduate Studies.

2. Admission Requirement for Aircraft Maintenance Technical (AMT), Avionics Component Maintenance Technicians, Aircraft Structure Technicians and Powerplant Maintenance Technicians Candidates

  • A minimum of Ethiopian University Entrance Exam Result Completion and 50% grade point in Mathematics, Physics and English Language each.  OR A Minimum of 10+3/College Diploma/ Level III/IV Certificate in Industrial Electronics/Automotive Electricity Electronics/General Mechanics/ Metal Work/Metal Technology or any related field of studies
  • Age:18- 28 years old inclusive
  • Height:1.60 cm and above
  • English language Proficiency: Level III

3. Admission Requirement for Commercial Pilot License (CPL). 

  • minimum of BSc/BA Degree graduate
  • Height: 1.62 Meters
  • English language Proficiency: Level IV

4. Admission Requirement for MBA in Aviation Management

• BA/BSC degree in any field of study, required to pass GAT (Graduate Admission Test) of the Ethiopian Ministry of Education and demonstrate the required English proficiency.

• An overall grade point average of at least 3.0 (based on a 4.00 scale).

 

5 Admission Requirement for BSc in Aeronautical Engineering

 • High school completed, with four years of Mathematics and Physics Education.

6. Admission Requirement for BSc in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

 • High school completed, with four years of Mathematics and Physics Education.

7 Admission Requirement for BSc in Aviation Management & Operations

 • High school completed in any field of studies.

8. Admission Requirement for BA in Tourism and Hospitality Management

 • High school completed in any field of studies.

 


 

Please note that applicants are eligible only for those high school completed in 2020, 2021 and 2022 G.C.


Admission requirement for Local applicants.

1. Admission Requirement for School of marketing (SOM) Candidates

  • • Highschool Completion with Minimum 250 And above.
  • • Pass Mark on Remedial Program.
  • • Minimum Of College Diploma/ 10+3 Level III Certificate in Social / Natural Science Filed of Studies from Recognized TVET / Collage / University.

 

  • AGE LIMIT: 18 YEARS’ OLD AND ABOVE
    • English language Proficiency: Level IV

4. Admission Requirement for BSc in Aeronautical Engineering.

• Per the minimum university entrance exam result set by the Ethiopian Higher Institution and required to pass the entrance exam delivered by Ethiopian Aviation University.

• Applicant shall be only natural science studies or any BSC degree from an accredited university or college.

5. Admission Requirement for BSc in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.

• Per the minimum university entrance exam result set by the Ethiopian Higher Institution and required to pass the entrance exam delivered by Ethiopian Aviation University.
• Applicant shall be only natural science studies or any BSC degree from an accredited university or college.

 

6. Admission Requirement for BSc in Aviation Management & Operations

• Per the minimum university entrance exam result set by the Ethiopian Higher Institution and required to pass the entrance exam delivered by Ethiopian Aviation University or any BA or BSC degree from an accredited university or college.

 

7. Admission Requirement for BA in Tourism and Hospitality Management

• Per the minimum university entrance exam result set by the Ethiopian Higher Institution and required to pass the entrance exam delivered by Ethiopian Aviation University or any BA or BSC degree from an accredited university or college.
