Admission Requirement for Commercial Pilot License (CPL)

Minimum completion of High School	A degree in any field with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Height: 1.62 Meters	Height of more than 1.62 meters.
English language Proficiency: Level IV	The training program duration is 1 year and 3 months.
Be medically fit and produce medical certificate from Aviation Doctor	Be medically fit and produce medical certificate from Aviation Doctor

Be medically fit and produce a 1st class medical certificate from Aviation Doctor and final medical check-up will be done at EAU with additional cost. Candidates are strictly required to produce Police Clearance Certificate on criminal records check. This document needs to be sent as early as secured to facilitate acceptance formalities and meet Security requirements To meet local security requirement, a Personal History Form need to be filled out, signed, with picture attached and sent to the (Sales & Business Development Office) together with the Police Clearance Certificate and Medical Clearance. The security pass to the candidate’s will be facilitated after signed of the agreement by EAU.

Entry Requirements 1.1. Education: Minimum completion of high school. Applicants need to send their supporting documents confirming completion. 1.2. High School education must be in natural science stream whereby applicants must have attended at least Mathematics and Physics.	A minimum of Ethiopian University Entrance Exam Result Completion and 50% grade point in Mathematics, Physics and English Language each. OR A Minimum of 10+3/College Diploma/ Level III/IV Certificate in Industrial Electronics/Automotive Electricity Electronics/General Mechanics/ Metal Work/Metal Technology or any related field of studies.
English language Proficiency: Level III	18- 28 years old inclusive
	Height:1.60 cm and above

v Pass Written exam given by EAU. v Applicants require to send Police forensic clearance certificate with fingerprint that shows free from any criminal record. v Be medically fit and produce medical certificate from Ethiopian Aviation medical per EAU check list. v To meet local security requirement, a Personal Profile Form need to be filled out, signed, with picture attached and sent to EAU.

Admission Requirement for Undergraduate Program

BSc in Aeronautical Engineering.
Per the minimum university entrance exam result set by the Ethiopian Higher Institution and required to pass the entrance exam delivered by Ethiopian Aviation University. Applicant shall be only natural science studies or any BSC degree from an accredited university or college.	High school completed, with four years of Mathematics and Physics Education.
BSc in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
Per the minimum university entrance exam result set by the Ethiopian Higher Institution and required to pass the entrance exam delivered by Ethiopian Aviation University. Applicant shall be only natural science studies or any BSC degree from an accredited university or college	High school completed, with four years of Mathematics and Physics Education.
BSc in Aviation Management & Operations
Per the minimum university entrance exam result set by the Ethiopian Higher Institution and required to pass the entrance exam delivered by Ethiopian Aviation University or any BA or BSC degree from an accredited university or college.	High school completed in any field of studies.
BA in Tourism and Hospitality Management
Per the minimum university entrance exam result set by the Ethiopian Higher Institution and required to pass the entrance exam delivered by Ethiopian Aviation University or any BA or BSC degree from an accredited university or college.	High school completed in any field of studies

For international Students, please note that:

Students are obligated to authenticated their document from the foreign Ministry at their country and Ethiopian Embassy, council office at time of reception of confirmation from Ethiopian Aviation University admission team .
Medium of Instruction is English and students English Level Proficiency shall be Level IV

Addmission Requirment for Post-graduate Program

BSc in computer science, mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, statistics, and airplane maintenance engineering.
An overall grade point average of at least 2.5 (based on a 4.00 scale).
A passing score on the National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT).
Meeting the English Language Proficiency requirements of the School of Graduate Studies.

BA/BSC degree in any field of study,
Required to pass National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT) of the Ethiopian Ministry of Education and demonstrate the required English proficiency.
An overall grade point average of at least 2.5 (based on a 4.00 scale).

School of marketing (SOM) Candidates

High school Completion with Minimum 250 And above.
Pass Mark on Remedial Program.
Minimum of College Diploma/ 10+3 Level III Certificate in Social / Natural Science Filed of Studies from Recognized TVET / Collage / University.
AGE LIMIT: 18 YEARS’ OLD AND ABOVE
English language Proficiency: Level IV
