Ethiopian aviation university has facilities that aid suitable teaching-learning process.

1. Library

The wide library at Ethiopian Aviation University has an extensive collection of books in soft and hard copy, numerous publications and reading materials.

2. Airframe components shop

The airframe component shop contains a wide variety of components and mockups that are used for practical activities on basic airframe systems (Pneumatic system, Hydraulic system, Landing gear system, Flight control system, Fuel system, Air-conditioning system and auxiliary systems) and components.

3. Composite shop

Our composite shop is equipped with the required facilities, materials and equipment for practical activities on how to repair and maintain composite structures.

4. General Workshop

This workshop is equipped with facilities, materials and equipment required for practical activities with the intention of developing trainees’ basic technical skills and competencies to have the right mindset such as the use of tools, safety and accuracy.

5. Aircraft Hangar

The hangar is equipped with the required facilities, materials and equipment for  practical activities on aircraft such as assembly/disassembly, rigging, weight and balance, Inspection, etc.) 

6. Cabin Shop

Our cabin shop is equipped with the required facilities, materials and equipment for  practical activities on aircraft cockpit and  cabin equipment  like crew seat, passenger seat, galley and emergency equipment.)

7. Electric Laboratory

The electric laboratory is equipped with the required facilities, materials and equipment for practical activities on basic electricity, direct current (DC) & alternating current (AC) fundamental, electrical machines and aircraft electrical systems.   

8. Instrument Laboratory

This laboratory is equipped with the required facilities, materials and equipment for practical activities on basic instruments, electronic instrument system, engine and airframe instruments, pitot static system, flight and navigation instruments, compass and inertial navigation system, flight data recorders and flight directory; and autopilot system.

9. Digital Laboratory

Our digital laboratory is equipped with the required facilities, materials and equipment for practical activities on digital electronics, data communication, microprocessor and microcontroller.

10. Analogue Laboratory

This laboratory is equipped with the required facilities, materials and equipment for practical activities on analogue electronics, radio transmission and reception, aircraft communication system and aircraft radio navigation system.

11. Power plant components shop

The powerplant components shop is equipped with the required facilities, materials and equipment for practical activities on basic Power plant systems.
