The admission requirements vary depending on the program you choose. However, some general requirements include:
Process for international students residency visa
EAU provides student residency visas for international students. An EAU representative will send an invitation letter after admission requirements are met and will facilitate visa on arrival with a valid passport copy. The process takes at least 10 working days. To process, EAU sales representatives will provide a letter, a Police Clearance Certificate, and a Personal History Form. Visa and security pass processes will be facilitated after payment is received. For more information, contact etauinfo@ethiopianairlines.com. The visa fee and related costs are to be covered by the student.
Tuition Fee
Tuition fees vary based on your chosen program. For degree programs, the cost is USD 165 per credit hour for international students, USD 95 per credit hour for the Engineering program, and USD 85 per credit hour for the Bachelor’s in Aviation Management and Operations (BAM) and the BA in Tourism and Hospitality Management for Ethiopian nationals. Additionally, you may need to cover expenses such as books, supplies, accommodation, transportation, insurance, and application fees, which amount to 400 ETB for Ethiopian students and 50 USD for international students.
Accommodation at EAU
EAU provides shared dormitories (accommodating two trainees in each room) along with a wide array of amenities. The dormitories are conveniently located within the university campus, just a short walk from the academic and administrative buildings.
